This session focuses on MI CASA, an essential topic in IB Spanish B and Spanish Ab Initio, and closely linked to several IBDP themes such as Identities and Human Ingenuity.

Spanish Vocabulary
Write down or say aloud these key words about la casa:
- el dormitorio (bedroom)
- la cocina (kitchen)
- el salón / la sala (living room)
- el baño (bathroom)
- el jardín / el balcón (garden / balcony)
- los muebles (furniture)
- las tareas domésticas (household chores)
Challenge:
Choose 3 words and make a simple sentence in Spanish:

Speaking Moment (5–7 minutes): Describe Your Space
Record a short 1-minute audio answering these questions:
- ¿Cómo es tu casa? (How is your house?)
- ¿Cuál es tu habitación favorita y por qué?
- ¿Qué actividades haces en casa normalmente?
