¡Hola, Cucu Family!
¿Qué tal estáis? ¿Cómo va enero? A few weeks into the New Year, and it’s time to ask… are those resolutions starting to take shape? 🤔
In our Spanish lessons, we go beyond just learning the language—we encourage students to reflect, think critically, and connect their words to real goals. This month, we asked our students about their New Year’s resolutions, and here’s what they shared:
Alumno 1
Alumno 2
Initial Resolutions:
🗣️ “Improve my Spanish”
📚 “Study Spanish more”
🎧 “Listen to more Spanish”
Important? Yes. But they’re a bit… generic! 😅 These goals lack a clear plan and actionable steps to achieve real progress.
That’s why, at Cucu Spanish, we focus on turning vague goals into specific, measurable, and achievable objectives. 💪 This month, we’ve been working with a fantastic article from @campusdifusion called Willpower, which you can check out here
💡 Our tip: Create goals that are specific and actionable. For example:
- Listen to a Spanish podcast for 10 minutes daily.
- Write three sentences in Spanish in a journal each night.
- Have a Spanish conversation with a partner once a week.
Now it’s your turn! What are your resolutions for 2025? 🎯👇
Un abrazo,
Ms. Esther Amorós
